After the QE2 had handed her crown to the QM2 earlier in the day which was a very grey affair weather wise, the sun came out for the evening and it was well worth making the trip to Weston Shore to get some photos of the QM2 departing for New York - Cunard's new Queen of the Atlantic. You could hear music across Southampton water playing out to the passengers and you'll see in the pictures quite a crowd turned up to wave her off.
