» Aurora

Owned by: P & O

Aurora was built by Meyer Werft in the year 2000 for P & O Cruise Lines, she's slightly bigger than her smaller sister Oriana and her top section was re-designed featuring a lovely sweeping stern section which curves down the top decks.

She's 886ft long, 106ft wide with a draught of 26ft and at 76,000 tons she's a pretty big cruise ship with a cruising speed of 24 knots - she's still up there with some of the newer cruisers.

Style wise I like the Aurora a lot, I like the angular look to her forward section, but what really makes it for me is the sweeping decks at the stern, they just look awesome.

Below are photographed events the Aurora has been seen at.
